We would like to offer special discounts for a long stay as follows:

  • 1 week stay package ：20% discount per person per night
  • 2 weeks stay package ：25% discount per person per night
  • 4 weeks stay package ：35% discount per person per night

- The long stay package have to be booked by phone or by a request form found on the homepage. Online booking is not applicable.

- You must make a booking consecutively all at once, otherwise these discount offers are not applicable. In case of staying for 2 nights and extend 5 more nights, it would not be considered as 1 week stay package.

- Applicable for the only check-in date in between the 1st of Sep, 2011 and the 29th of Feb, 2012.



In case staying in a 2,500JPN dormitory,

  • 1 week stay：14,000JPN（20%discount-->>2,000JPN/PP）

In case staying in a 3,500JPN single room,

  • 1 week stay：19,600JPN（20%discount-->>2,800JPN/room）

Advantages for staying in a guesthouse

What do you need to prepare for moving to a new place? Buying appliances and furniture, procedures for utitilies.. etc. You may think of staying in a share house or furnished apartment. Yes, it could be an option. However staying in a guesthouse could also be an alternative option. Here are some of the advantages.

■Self-catering kitchen is available for 24 hours.

All of our guesthouses are equipped with kitchen appliances such as fridge, microwage, toaster and rice cooker. Also seasonings, coffee and tea are all free of charge.

■Comfortable cozy living room to make yourself at home in

You can watch TV with international programs. Enjoy playing a guitar or games, reading newspaper as well.

■Free Internet access everywhere

Wifi internet access in the guesthouse is for free. It's accessible even in the dorm beds. There are also some common PCs in the guesthouse, which are free of charge.

■Coin laundry

Washer and dryer are equipped in the guesthouse. Washing detergent is free and we also have an iron to lend without any charge.

Notes for payments

  • Please pay for the entire accomodation fee in advance when you check in.
  • If you would like to extend the number of nights, the fee per night per person you have paid at first would be applicable.
  • ·In the case of a shortening a "week stay package" the total payment would be re-adjusted and we will determine how much will be refunded. Please see the below case examples for more detail, which is the case of staying in a 2,500JPN dormitory.

    • <Case #1>
    In case you extend 1 night with a 1 week stay package, the 8th night would be offered for the rate 2,000JPY/PP

    <Case #2>
    In the case you cancel 1 night of a 1 week stay package, the number of nights would be 6 nights, which is not applicable for this package anymore. The proper price for the dorm bed 2,500JPY times 6 nights will be 15,000JPY. Since the total payment for 6 nights is more expensive than 1 week stay, you will not be charged any additional payment however you will not be refunded the last 1 night of stay.

    <Case #2>
    In the case you shorten 3 nights from a 1 week stay package, the total number of nights would be 4 nights. This is not applicable for a 1 week stay package anymore. The proper price for the dorm bed 2,500JPY times 4 nights will be 10,000JPY. Since you have already paid for 14,000JPY, you will be refunded the difference of 4,000JPY.

    <Case #3>
    In the case you extend 1 night during a 2 weeks stay package, it's possible for you to stay the 15th night by paying 1,875JPY, which is the same discount rate offered in the 2 weeks stay package.

    <Case #4>
    In the case you shorten 3 nights from a 2 weeks stay package, the total number of nights would be 11 nights. It's not applicable for 2 weeks stay package anymore. The proper price for the dorm bed 2,500JPY times 11 nights will be 22,000JPY. Since you have already paid for 26,250JPY, you will be refunded the difference of 4,250JPY.

  • In the case you need to change your room type from A to B during your stay, the total number of nights for both room type A and B can be added up as in the case below.

    <Case #5>
    In the case of a 2 persons stay in a dorm room for 5 nights, and stay in a twin room for 2 nights,
    - Fee of dorm room : 2,500*2person*5nights=25,000JPY
    - Fee of twin room : 6,000*2nights=12.000JPY
    Total fee : 37,000JPY
    37,000*20% off=29,600JPY

The hostel opened in Kyoto in 2002. It's an 8 minute walk from JR Kyoto Station. There are many important historical sites such as Toji Temple or Fushimi-Inari Shrine. The nearest bus stop is right in front of this hostel , which is on the quite convenitnt bus route to access to other major sights such as Kinkakuji, Kiyomizudera or Gion.
